Miramichi hosted the Division 6 Mini Girls Provincials at MVHS over the weekend and had a very successful tournament. the girls started the tournament with a 2-0 record on Saturday with wins over Moncton 32-28 and Centerville 35-21 with . On Sunday the Pulamoo took on Southern Vic in the crossover game and pulled off a 40-30 win and a trip to the gold medal game against the undefeated Bathurst Foxes.
The bronze medal game turned out to be the most exciting game of the tournament as the Southern Vic Vikings scored a last minute comeback win 31-30 over the Moncton Hawks to win the Bronze.
In the Gold medal game, the Bathurst Foxes came out strong and captured the gold with a 41-21 win over Miramichi. Willow Francis was named team MVP for the Pulamoo.
