Senior EDP Session Identification (North)

The Senior Elite Development Program will be holding the Northern New Brunswick identification session on Sunday March 13, 2016 at Miramichi Valley High School.  This session is for both male and female athletes born from 1999-2002 that wish to take part in the EDP program or play on a Provincial team.  The first session for females will go from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  The male session will run from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

Step 1: Senior EDP will once again be done by invitation. Athletes interested in participating will have the opportunity to attend one of five regional ID sessions around the province in March to further improve their chances of being selected.  These ID sessions are free of charge and will offer athletes the introductory concepts for the NB Style of Play to be developed at Senior EDP in April.
Step 2:  From the regional ID sessions and coach input, a select number of athletes will be invited (via email once ALL 5 sessions are complete) to take part in the weekend EDP training sessions on April 10th, 16th, and 24th. These three EDP training sessions will be used as the 2016 Provincial Team tryouts with final team selections being made following the April 24th competition day in Fredericton.
*Jr EDP players (born 2002) are eligible to attend the Sr ID sessions if interested in playing on U15 provincial teams.

EDP Training Sessions - Sunday, April 10 @ Odyssee/Mascaret (Moncton)
Saturday, April 16 @ KVHS/HMMS (Quispamsis)
Sunday, April 24 @ UNB Currie Center (Fredericton)

For players that are selected there is a $100 fee, includes three weekend training sessions, reversible jersey and T-shirt.
Sessions will be lead by provincial team coaches and BNB Technical Director, Neil Smith.
