Pulamoo Teams U12 Wrap-up

Miramichi Hoops had a number of teams and athletes competing at the U12 BNB provincials.  The U12 boys won the BNB Tier 3 provincials this past weekend hosted at MVHS.  The Pulamoo went 1 and 1 in the round robin before defeating NMBA in the semi-final by a score of 44-32.  This set-up a championship match-up with Hartland. The boys came out firing putting up 64 points to Hartland's 54 to claim the crown.

The U12 A girls competed in the Tier 2 provincials finishing in 4th place with a 2 and 2 record overall. The girls lost their semi-final match-up setting them up to play Sussex for 3rd place. The girls came up just short of claiming bronze falling 34-32 to the Stingers.

 The U12 B girls travelled to port elgin for
division 5 provincials. The girls went 2 and 2 and ended up winning the
bronze medal defeating Canterbury 53 to 27. There was a skills competition
on Sunday and out of the top 4 winners the Pulamoo had 3 girls finish in the top 4.
