BNB Announces New Sr. EDP Program

BNB has announced a new format for the High- Performance programming this fall for athletes ages 14 to 18. The goal is to increase the opportunities available for the best players from across the province to come together to train and compete. 

The program will consist of two components:

Sunday Sessions

• Centralized Training camps which will be 3 hours in length scheduled throughout the fall and winter each consisting of 45-60 minutes of targeted skill development and a minimum of 120 minutes of Competition using a variety of formats.

Individual Improvement Plan(IPP) Consultation

• Athletes in the program will be given the opportunity if they wish to book a consultation (either in person or virtual) with a BNB High Performance Staff member to work together to develop an Individualized Improvement Plan.

• These plans will focus on basketball specific skills along with the Physical and Mental pillars required for success
  
  Players previously identified through the Provincial Team Program or Bantam Elite Camp will be sent direct invitations to join the Sr EDP program on the morning of Sept 12th. 
  
  Any other interested players are welcome to apply for spots using this application form. 
  
   EDP will be used to build a provincial depth chart for the 2024 and 2025 Provincial Teams. BNB is looking for athletes who are dedicated and committed to improving their skills. EDP is designed to have all of our top players learning from an advanced skills-based curriculum to set the ground-work for these programs. Evaluations will be on-going throughout the training sessions and final showcase. Athletes wishing to be eligible for BNB Provincial Teams are required to participate in EDP.
