31st Annual Miramichi Hoop Classic

The 31st Annual Giant Tiger Miramichi Hoop Classic will take place on Thursday November 16 through to Saturday November 18th. The 31st Annual Miramichi Hoop Classic co-hosted by Miramichi Valley High School and James M Hill Memorial High School will take place Thursday November 16^th to Saturday November 18th.  Games will be held at Miramichi Valley, James M Hill and at Dr. Losier Middle School.  The tournament will feature 8 senior boys' and 8 senior girls' teams from across New Brunswick.  Boys’s teams attending the Miramichi Hoop Classic are: Miramichi Valley, James M Hill, Woodstock, Moncton High, Harvey, Carleton North, Dalhousie Regional and Hartland. Lady's teams attending include:  Miramichi Valley, James M Hill, Carleton North, Rothesay High School, Fredericton High, Riverview High School, Moncton High and Mathieu Martin.  The final for the ladies will be held at JMH at 3:15 PM with the men’s final going at 5:00 PM also at JMH. Games begin on Thursday evening at MVHS when the cross-river rivals tipping off the season against each other. The girls will take the court at 6:00 PM and the boys at 8:00 PM. Games resume at both JMH and MVHS at 11:30 AM on Friday. Tournament passes are available at the door, $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
