U13 Black Girls Take Home the Title at Home Tournament

The U13 Black girls' basketball team went undefeated and took home the title for their home tournament. The girls started round robin play with a win over the Moncton Hawks and then defeated Sackville. The 2 and 0 record but them into the semi-final against Bathurst. The semi was a close game to the end but the River Hoops girls were able to come away with a 7 point win. The River Hoops Orange Team made it to the semi in the B division, coming up just short  Wagainst Woodstock. In the final River Hoops Black faced an undefeated Next Level team from Moncton. The girls trailed most of the game but used a big 4th quarter to squeeze out a 52-49 win to keep the banner at home.
