BNB Jr. EDP Program Information

Basketball New Brunswick (BNB) has announced that its Junior Elite Development Program (EDP) is back for the 2025‑26 season. Registration opens on September 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM and space is limited, as participants are accepted on a first‑come, first‑served basis. The programme is open to athletes born in 2012 and 2013 (Grades 7 and 8).

The Junior EDP is designed to align with Canada Basketball and New Brunswick’s style of play, providing young athletes with the skills and concepts needed for provincial‑team play. Participation in the EDP is also a requirement for selection to the U14 provincial teams, Bantam Elite Camp and U13 Development Camp. Each location offers eight fall sessions and six spring sessions, followed by centralized competition days. A fall entry costs $300, which covers fall and spring training sessions, competition days, a BNB Under Armour T‑shirt and a reversible jersey.

North (Campbellton–Miramichi) Fall Training Schedule

Sessions in the North region (Campbellton–Miramichi) will be co‑ed and take place at Miramichi Valley High School (MVHS) and Gretna Green School. According to BNB, the fall 2025 schedule is as follows:

• Saturday, Sept 27 – MVHS: 1:00–5:00 PM, double session

• Saturday, Oct 4 – MVHS: 1:00–5:00 PM, double session

• Wednesday, Oct 8 – Gretna Green: 6:30–8:00 PM

• Saturday, Oct 18 – MVHS: 1:00–5:00 PM, double session

• Wednesday, Oct 22 – Gretna Green: 6:30–8:00 PM

Each “double session” combines two 90‑minute sessions into one three‑hour block, while the single evening sessions at Gretna Green run for 90 minutes.
