River Hoops and the Miramichi Basketball Officials Association are inviting all returning and potential new basketball officials to attend an upcoming referee clinic at Miramichi Valley High School.
The first session will take place on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 PM (meet at the gym at MVHS). Anyone interested in officiating basketball — from minor and middle school games to higher levels — is welcome to attend.
The clinic series will continue for 3–4 Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, providing training and guidance from experienced local officials to help new referees gain confidence and returning officials refresh their knowledge before the season begins.
Whether you’re a student looking to get involved, a coach wanting to learn more about officiating, or a community member interested in supporting local basketball, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the game.
