Miramichi Summer Hoops Camp

The 2011 Miramichi Summer Hoops Camp has come and gone for another year.  The number of kids attending camp continues to grow.  There were 70 campers in the morning session with kids in grades K to 5 attending.  The afternoon session had 29 kids from grades 6 to 8.  The camp focused on fundamental skills and team play.  There were a number of competitions run throughout the week including foul shooting, one on one, three on three, and five on five competitions.  On competition day held on Friday the following conpetitions were held; speed dribble, drew shooting, pressure shooting, speed lay-ups, box jumpers and NBA 2ball.  The staff of the Miramichi Summer Hoops Camp would like to thank all of the kids that attended this summer.
