University Hoops Showcase on the River

The University Hoops Showcase on the River will take place on October 14, 15 and 16 at Miramichi Valley High Shcool.  The tournament will feature 8 teams, 4 men's and 4 ladies.  Tournament action will begin on Friday at 2 PM with Crandall taking on Holland College in Men's action.  Tournament action will continue through Sunday.  Coach Matt Skinn of St. Francis Xavier and Coach Gaither from Lee Academy will be putting on clinics for both boys and girls on Saturday at 10 AM.  The boys clinic will be held at Carrefour and the ladies will go at MVHS.  Tournament passes are available for $20 Adult, $15 students and seniors and children 12 or under are free.  A tournament schedule is listed below.
