Pulamoo Win Mini Hoop Classic!

The Mini Pulamoo Boys hosted the 2014 Mini Boys Hoop Classic on January 25th and 26th at Miramichi Valley High School. The six-team tournament was a huge success. In their first game, the Mini Pulamoo defeated the Moncton Hawks, 62-34. Evan Valanne was named Player of the Game. During their second game, the Pulamoo faced the KV Slammers and won 54 - 37. Player of the Game was Shafnan Ahmed. Sunday morning started with the Mini Pulamoo defeating Riverview B, 40 - 20. Isaiah Loftman was named Player of the Game. The gold medal game saw the Pulamoo once again face the Moncton Hawks. In a much more physical meeting than their first game of the tournament, the Mini Pulamoo were able to pull away early in the second half and hold onto a 53 - 40 victory. Player of the Game was Owen Amos. Coaches Barry Amos and Mark Hare would like to thank all the parents and sponsors who helped make the weekend a huge success.
